| Funny Computer Pranks
Typically, the less the victims know about computers, the easier it is to play computer pranks on them. For those that know their stuff, something a bit more elaborate is usually needed. The computer pranks below can give you a few ideas and point you in the right direction, but really, the sky is the limit here. Be creative, because the more software is the victim using, the more possibilities this opens to you.
Anyway, here are a few simple computer pranks that you might enjoy:
Still Waiting...
Loading Cursor: go to the Control Panel and click the Mouse settings. Now change the mouse arrow from what they're using to the cursor used when the computer is busy. When they get back, see how much they're going to wait looking at the screen, thinking that the computer is busy.
The Dirty-Minded Typist
Switched keys: this one works best with those that are beginners and don't know the position of the keyboard buttons. Switch the T,H,E letters on the keyboard with the S, E and X keys, so that when they try to type THE, which is often used, they would type SEX instead.
The Broken Monitor
Monitor computer prank: set the monitor's color and brightness until it shows a totally dark screen. The victim will keep restarting the computer and will see nothing on it, thinking that the monitor is broken.
The Click Champion
The Click Champion is one of my favorite computer pranks. You have to go to the Mouse option in the Control Panel and change the settings for the double click, to the fastest possible. Then sit back and watch the victim trying to double click like crazy, and still not managing to do it at the speed that is set up. That includes trying to reach the Mouse settings by double clicking.
Remember to be creative about your computer pranks and make sure the victim doesn't see you laughing like a mad man. |
