Condition: Cloth-backed, pictorial boards decorated in color. Unpaginated. Each story and accompanying illustrations is printed in a different color ink. Profusely illustrated with Palmer Cox' Playful brownies and critters. - Po's inscription (dated 1894) to front paste-down, light scattered foxing and soiling to pages, both gutters completely cracked and text block is loose, no missing pages, boards are shelfworn with heavy rubbing to extremities, Fair but complete with legible text. - This very thick book appears to be a compilation of three different Palmer Cox books published by Hubbard in the late 1800's.
